For a makeup to look finished, the definition of the eyebrows plays an important role. Believe it or not, our eyebrows are one of the facial features that bring the most expressiveness to our face and therefore it is important that they look as natural and cared for as possible. The essential thing for beautiful eyebrows is that they are in harmony with the rest of the features. The reason? Poorly plucked or excessively plucked eyebrows can be detrimental (and a lot) to your face.
On the one hand, the extremely fine eyebrows that were so fashionable years ago and that are so unfavorable, completely eliminate expressiveness. And on the other hand, eyebrows that are too thick and/or disheveled convey a great feeling of neglect.
The best thing to avoid taking risks is to go to a professional in the matter, and it will be that person who will advise us and mark the shape. From there, your job will consist of removing the little hairs that come out so as not to lose shape. In addition, you must learn how to make up and outline the eyebrows so that your look is framed, defined and very special. Shall we start? Look!
Tricks to outline and fill the eyebrows
Once you have perfectly plucked eyebrows, it’s time for makeup. Our recommendation is that whenever you apply makeup, both in your day-to-day life and on special occasions, you define your eyebrows and outline them. It is, in short, one more step in your makeup routine. Do you want to learn how to do it correctly? Attention:
- We will always start by combing the eyebrows upwards so that they take their original shape. This way they will not lose their waxing and you will be splendid.
- To make it look natural, with an eye shadow of the same color as our eyebrow and a flat brush we will begin to outline the eyebrow. The first step is to do it below it, from between the eyebrows outwards.
- Once the previous step of outlining is done, go over them again giving small touches with the brush upwards. In this way you will make the shadow blend with the tone of your eyebrow and it will be even more perfect.
- In the upper part of the eyebrow, we will perform the same outlining operation, making sure to mark the arch of the eyebrow well.
- When working with shadows, we must always remove excess product. Do this step by once again combining the eyebrows with a specific brush for them.
- Once we have made up the rest of the eye, we will go over it with a transparent eyebrow fixer to finish fixing the shape and shadow.
- You can also outline it with a pencil but, due to its variety of tones and textures, it will always look more natural if you do it with eye.
As we already know, to illuminate the eye and make our gaze gain strength, we must apply a light shadow or highlighter just below the arch of the eyebrow. This will also perfect your shape and make your makeup specialist look.
